Vlad Filat’s reshuffling plans may represent pressure on Liberal Party, Mihai Ghimpu

The Cabinet reshuffle about which Prime Minister Vlad Filat speaks may represent pressure exerted on the Liberal Party (PL) in connection with the election of the President, Mihai Ghimpu told the press. In a televised program on Tuesday evening, Vlad Filat said that here are five ministers who must be dismissed and he has one application to discharge a minister on his table already, Info-Prim Neo reports. “A minister cannot be dismissed without the consent of the parliamentary group that fielded him. This is stipulated in the agreement on the constitution of the alliance and we thus must discuss the issue within the Council of the AEI first. They should provide arguments. I can also say I don’t like the Premier and the Acting President and only I was good. This is not right,” said Mihai Ghimpu. He also said that the ministers of the Liberal Party are good and work hard. “The roads are repaired for the first time and the people see this and are satisfied. The ecological situation has improved. You saw what parade the army staged. The ministers work well,” stated Mihai Ghimpu. The Liberal Party has five ministers. These are Minister of Defense Vitalie Marinuta, Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Anatolie Salaru, Minister of the Environment Gheorghe Salaru, Minister of Youth and Sport Ion Cebanu, and one Deputy Prime, Minister Mihai Moldovanu. Vlad Filat said the five ministers who should be discharged include representatives of the PLDM. The Premier announced the Cabinet reshuffle last year.
