The first deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) Vlad Plahtoniuc will attend the official ceremony where the US Democratic Party will designate its candidate for the upcoming presidential elections, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of PDM. According to the communique, Vlad Plahotniuc traveled today, September 30, to USA, where he will also carry out a schedule for his party. The main part is the participation at the Convention where the Democrats will announce their presidential candidate. The Convention will take place on September 4-6, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The state is well known in Moldova thanks to direct and close relations with our country. Besides the US Democratic Party leaders, representatives of social-democratic parties from all over the world are invited at the event, including leaders from other political families. On this occasion Vlad Plahotniuc’s schedule includes meetings with important Democrats such as congressmen, senators, governors and White House officials. The first deputy leader of PDM will attend a series of debates interesting from the perspective of political experience exchange between the US and Moldova, organized by the National Democratic Institute (NDA).
