In his 15-minute speech, the Communist leader accused the AEI leaders of resorting to measures aimed against the people, first of all the police officers as they adopt laws to deprive them of social benefits. “The government disrespects the police officers, who were the real defenders of the country's sovereignty, the state of law and democracy. The law enforcement bodies hide the names of the vandals. The Chisinau City Hall awards them prizes of millions of lei. Ghimpu put forward a legislative initiative to declare April 7 as Freedom Day.
