Vladimir Voronin: We will form coalition with no one

The Communist Party (PCRM) will form a post-electoral coalition neither with the traitors nor with the bandits, the party’s leader Vladimir Voronin said in the program “Politics” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.

Voronin classed as ‘traitors’ the former Communist MPs who left the PCRM and formed or joined other parties. “I communicate with none of these traitors and will form no coalition with them. I had confidence in them. The party invested so much to make them MPs, but they betrayed it. Dodon wasn’t ‘born’ by Russia and is not financed by Putin. Simply Grechanyi uses her relations that she established when she was Prime Minister and when Vladimir Putin held a similar post. But the truth will be discovered after November 30. It is rather improbable that traitor Dodon will enter Parliament,” he stated.

Referring to the ‘bandits’, Voronin said that he refers to the members of the government coalition. “That’s why we asked the Constitutional Court to shed light and determine if such bandits as Leanca and Filat can run as candidates in the elections,” he stated.

Asked about the arrest in Chisinau of leaders of Russian and Ukrainian extremist movements and of the former activist of the PCRM Pavel Grigorciuc, Voronin said it was an attempt by the ruling parties to influence the voters psychologically.

In the program, Vladimir Voronin insulted the hosts of the program, especially when inconvenient questions were put to him. “The press law is not a law. The journalists should not be concerned about the party’s affairs. You are not members of the PCRM,” Voronin apostrophized the hosts. Things were calmed down after the leader of the PCRM was warned he may be asked to leave the studio.
