The turnout of voters in the municipality of Chisinau was 5.9% at 9.00. The voters in Centru district were the most active. The turnout there was 8.7% of the voters written on the rolls. Only 3.6% of the electors voted in Ciocana district, chairman of the Chisinau District Electoral Council Iulian Balan said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. In Buiucani district, the turnout was 5.6% of the voters, in Rascani district – 5.6%, while in Botanica district – 5.8%. In the suburbs of Chisinau, the voter turnout was 6.4%. Iulian Balan also said that the votes cast for the Chisinau Municipal Council will be recounted on June 23.
