All the 375 polling places established for the May 20 mayoral elections in the seven communities were opened without incidents, IPN has learned from the Central Election Commission.

At 7:45am, the vote turnout in the municipality of Chisinau was 0.73%, in Balti municiplaity 0.89%, in Leuseni commune of Hancesti district 1.4%, in Nemteni village of Hancesti district 1.41%, in Jora de Mijloc commune of Orhei  district 2.99%, in Volovita commune of Soroca district 1.52%, in Parlita village of Ungheni distrcit 0.78%.

The main voter rolls include 749 272 persons. In the municipality of Chisinau, there are 631 678 voters.

The polling places work from 7am until 9pm.
