We risk leaving country without budget and budgetary-fiscal policy, Veaceslav Ionita
“My optimism decreases every day and I realize that the PLDM’s assertions that venturing into the election of the President we risk leaving the country without state budget and budgetary-fiscal policy may come true,” the head of the parliamentary commission on economy, budget and finance Veaceslav Ionita said Thursday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
He warned that Moldova may remain without budget next year, stressing the MPs should discuss the issue with the party colleagues working in the Government. He said he doubts that the 2012 budgetary-fiscal policy, as the state budget, will be adopted by yearend and this is a cause for misunderstandings inside the ruling alliance.
The Liberal Party head Mihai Ghimpu said that if the commission on economy, budget and finance is ready, the budgetary-fiscal policy will be debated without problems. “These laws must be adopted by December 31. We still have time. Nobody should now impose conditions as the agreement reached in the Council’s meeting was different,” he stated.
Mihai Ghimpu suggested that the budgetary-fiscal policy in the future should be passed for four years and assured that both of the bills will be adopted within a reasonable timeframe.
For his part, the president of honor of the Democratic Party Dumitru Diacov said only very negative developments in Parliament can hamper the adoption of the budget and budgetary-fiscal policy.
The budgetary-fiscal policy document for next year provides for the annulment of the zero tax on reinvested profit, adjustment of the excises on oil products to the inflation rate and the rise in excise duties on the import of cars.
