Youth problems treated at Polish Film Festival

The fifth Polish Film Festival in Chisinau will center on the problems faced by the youth, manager of the Center of Culture "Gaudeamus” Lidia Troianowski has told Info-Prim Neo. The event will be opened by the Polish Ambassador to Moldova Bogumil Luft at 6pm on November 17. Five movies about the mentality of the Polish young people, the problems and conflict situations they experience as well as the dialogue that can lead to love will be screened during the festival. The festival will open with the movie “Moja krew” (“Blood from my blood”), which is about a young boxer who injures himself during training and has considerable difficulty in recovering. The following days, there will be shown the movies “Prosta historia o miłości” (“An ordinary love story”, “Dom zły” “(The bad house”), “Zero” and “Wojna polsko-ruska” “The Snow-White and the Bolshevik red”, which is about young persons who take drugs and are confronted by a lot of problems. Four of the five movies were made in 2009. The Polish Film Festival will take place at the Center of Culture "Gaudeamus” during November 17-21. Screenings start at 6pm. The movies are in Polish with Romanian subtitles. Entrance is free of charge.
