Mihaliov scored two goals, while Bugaiov, Tigirlas, Ovseannicov and Gulceac by one goal. As a result of this victory, Zaria climbed to the first spot in the rankings, being one point ahead of Sheriff. In another match of the 21st stage, Petrocub-Hancesti and Speranta Nisporeni drew 1-1.
