Over 1,000 observers will oversee the administration of middle school graduation exams. The campaign "Be O9EST! Don’t Cheat!", launched by the Ministry of Education, will be expanded to all districts to combat plagiarism in exams, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) recalls that this campaign was piloted in eight districts last year, when 600 volunteers were deployed as observers in 185 institutions.
This year, over 1,000 observers - including students, lecturers, and NGO representatives - appointed by the National Examination Commission will monitor the exam process across all districts.
The 2025 campaign also includes training activities for students, teachers, and volunteers.
To support students struggling with mathematics, more than 6,000 ninth-graders have been participating in 40 free extra lessons since March.
