Thirty-three apartment buildings in Botanica district of Chisinau were left without hot water on Tuesday following an accident in an old pipe located at 9 Cuza Vodă Street. Termoelectrica said that the necessary works are currently being carried out to remedy the problem, IPN reports.

The pipeline has an operating term of over 40 years and, in connection with the accident, Termoelectrica noted that intervention works are executed to ensure the operation of the heating system.

In order to carry out the works in optimal conditions, the supply of hot water to the 33 buildings will be temporarily stopped, between 08:00 a.m. and 05:00 p.m.
