At least 98 people died and more than 150 were injured after the roof of a nightclub in the Dominican Republic's capital Santo Domingo collapsed on April 8. The death toll is rising as the searches are advancing, IPN reports.

The roof of the venue collapsed during a performance by the famous singer Rubby Perez, who also died under the rubble. About 400 rescuers are working at full speed to free more people, according to Listín Diario.
