Children with disabilities and people with severe disabilities that appeared during childhood will benefit from disability allowances and survivors' pensions at the same time. The draft law providing for this was given a final reading by Parliament, IPN reports.
People with severe childhood disabilities will benefit from the survivor's pension not only until the age of 18, as provided by the current legislation, but throughout their lives.
The amount of the survivor's pension in the case of people with severe childhood disabilities will be 75% of the income of the maintainer for each survivor. The legal representative will be entitled to receive the allowance for the child or person with severe childhood disabilities who lost their maintainer.
The legislative amendments enter into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
