The Chisinau City Hall will request the National Patrolling Inspectorate and the Chisinau Police Division to stop the minibuses from illegally running on the routes there were annulled by an order of Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué of the Chisinau City Hall, 256 trolleybuses, 91 buses and over 1,700 minibuses were running on the municipal routes in the morning of July 15, at a time when only 1,450 minibuses are authorized to work.

Last weekend, the mayor made an order by which seven municipal minibus routes were removed.
