Parliament will regulate the mechanism for challenging the investigation body’s refusal to accept a denouncement about the commission or planning of an offense. The parliamentary legal commission for appointments and immunities approved the initiative, IPN reports.
Under the bill, the investigation body’s refusal to accept a denouncement could be challenged with the prosecutor or the hierarchically superior prosecutor within 15 days of the day the refusal is made known. The refusal ordinance can be disputed with the judge of inquiry within 10 days of the day it is made known.
The legal entities registered in Moldova could benefit from state guaranteed legal aid.
The bill is to be debated in Parliament.
