A total 4.7 million lei will be allotted to several local public authorities for the repairs of buildings of social and administrative purpose damaged by the heavy rains in July, as decided by the Government. The beneficiaries are Basarabeasca District Council, Iserlia and Sadaclia local councils and Basarabeasca town council.

The money will be transferred from the Government intervention fund, destined to relieve the consequences of natural disasters, epidemics and other emergencies.

According to another decision approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, the Material Reserves Agency will grant from the state reserves food products worth about 140 thousand lei to help victims’ families in Otaci.

For Basarabeasca district council, construction materials worth 2.3 million lei will be transferred from the state reserves.

The Ministry of Finance will reimburse to the Material Reserves Agency the cost of goods in order to supplement the state material reserves.
