New questions will be integrated into the theory test for obtaining the right to drive as from July 1. The procedure for conducting the exam and the number of items in the questionnaire will not be changed, the Public Services Agency specified. Candidates will have to answer questions related to road safety, fire safety, drivers’ behavior towards cyclists, road signs/markings, IPN reports.
In categories A, B, H and subcategories AM, A1, A2, B1, the candidate will fill in a questionnaire consisting of 24 items. The time allotted is 30 minutes. To pass the test, one needs to answer correctly at least 22 items.
In categories BE, C, CE, D, F and subcategories C1, C1E, D1, D1E, the candidate will fill in a questionnaire consisting of 30 items. The time allotted is 38 minutes. To pass the test, one needs to answer correctly at least 27 items.
In category CE and D, CE and subcategory D1, subcategories C1E and D1, the candidate will fill in a questionnaire consisting of 36 items. The time allotted is 45 minutes. To pass the test, one needs to answer correctly at least 32 items.
The teaching material “Questions for taking the driving theory test” updated with the new questions is already used by driver training institutions (driving schools).
