The Romania Royal Family is in Chisinau. The visit is dedicated to the economic development of the Republic of Moldova, as well as to cooperation with Romania, IPN reports.
It is the 22nd visit made by the Royal Family to the Republic of Moldova in the last two decades.
On Sunday, April 6, at the Chisinau International Airport, Her Majesty Margareta and Prince Consort Radu were welcomed by the Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Moldova Cristian-Leon Țurcanu.
The Royal Family was received at the State Residential Palace by the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu. The meeting also involved Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Ambassador Cristian-Leon Țurcanu.
Her Majesty Margareta, the Custodian of the Crown, and His Royal Highness Radu will take part in the third edition of the Chisinau Economic Forum. The event represents a platform for international dialogue and cooperation that is expected to bring together more than 500 participants, European leaders and investors, representatives of the diplomatic, academic and business communities, said the RFI radio station broadcasting in the Republic of Moldova.
The third Chisinau Economic Forum is held on April 7-8 under the auspices of the Romanian Royal Family.
