From next year, the authorities will carry out an individual assessment of each family before giving them social assistance. A decision on individual approaches to families receiving social aid has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, IPN reports.
According to the draft decision, an individual plan of assistance will be applied and the community social worker will be appointed as a case manager, responsible for monitoring the implementation of the actions in the assistance plan.
Thus, by means of case management, the help for disadvantaged families will be centered on their concrete needs.
The objective of the project is to assess the causes that lead to the need to apply for social assistance, as well as to draw up a plan to determine employment measures, in the case of families with employable beneficiaries, and the inclusion of families receiving social assistance.
Data from the National Social Insurance House show that more than 21 thousand families on state social assistance were officially registered at the beginning of this year.
