Access to certain public places in Chisinau will be restricted on December 24, between 8:00 and 14:00. The measure is being implemented by the police in connection with the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
The following areas will be temporarily closed to the public:
Piata Marii Adunari Nationale (Great National Assembly Square)
Stefan cel Mare și Sfânt Public Garden
Stefan cel Mare și Sfant Boulevard (between Serghei Lazo Street and Alexandr Puskin Street)
31 August 1989 Street (between Sfatul Tarii Street and Mitropolit G. Banulescu-Bodoni Street)
Nicolae Iorga Street (between 31 August 1989 Street and Bucuresti Street)
Bucuresti Street (between Mitropolit G. Banulescu-Bodoni Street and Sfatul Tarii Street)
Mitropolit G. Banulescu-Bodoni Street (between Mitropolit Dosoftei Street and Bucuresti Street)
Maria Cebotari Street (between Mitropolit Dosoftei Street and Alexei Sciusev Street)
Sfatul Tarii Street (between Mitropolit Dosoftei Street and Alexei Sciusev Street).
Exceptions to these restrictions include social and cultural events mentioned in prior declarations submitted to the Chisinau City Hall during the specified period.
Drivers are advised to comply with traffic officers' instructions, exercise patience and discipline, and adhere strictly to traffic regulations.
