AMN urges AEI parties to reconstitute alliance after elections
The Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) calls on the member parties of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) to express now their readiness to reconstitute the alliance after the November 28 early legislative elections, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We propose that all the coalition partners should say now clearly that the AEI will work again from November 29 and that alliances with the Communists are impossible,” the party's first deputy president Victor Osipov said in a news conference on Tuesday.
According to Osipov, the people should be confident that these political forces will unite and work for the country's benefit. He said that the disagreements inside the ruling alliance damaged its image. Thus, they should restore the people's confidence in it. “We are obliged to assure them that the process to reconstitute the Alliance will start on November 29,” Victor Osipov stressed.
In this connection, he said that the future alliance should build on three criteria – acceleration of the initiated reforms, acceptance of the model of absolute political responsibility for the entrusted areas so that the ministers are able to set up the teams themselves, and depoliticization of the public service.
In the same news conference, Vicror Osipov criticized his alliance colleagues, mainly the Liberal Democratic Party and the Democratic Party, which, according to him, tried to recruit AMN members in the current election campaign.
