German Chancellor Angela Merkel accepted the invitation of Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat to make an official visit to the Republic of Moldova at the end of this summer, reports Info-Prim Neo. During a press conference, on June 29, Vlad Filat stated that he signed a disposition for commencing preparations for the honorable guest’s visit. “This visit is a premiere for Moldova. We will have a loaded agenda; we will lead discussions on bilateral relations and the process of Moldova’s integration to the EU, as well as the issue of re-integrating our own country. I have high expectations from all the people who have a good attitude towards our country, even more, they have decisional power”, stated Vlad Filat. The exact date of the visit will be set by the Ministries for External affairs of the two states.
