The social campaign “I Love Moldova”, which was launched by the PCRM's candidate for mayor of Chisinau Igor Dodon on April 7, has an anthem from today, April 27. The song is titled “We are Moldovans” and is sung by Irina Tarasiuc and Eduard Lopatenco, Info-Prim Neo reports.
During the presentation of the video clip, Igor Dodon told the press that it does not have electoral connotations and is aimed at promoting love for the homeland. “We want to be proud of Moldova. This is the only message conveyed by the song. The video contains no electoral message or allusion favoring a party or a candidate running in the elections,” said the Communist MP.
The video clip was filmed during three days in a number of towns and, according to the authors of the song, cost nothing because those involved in its production were not remunerated as it was a volunteer action. Several economic entities that support the idea of the social campaign “I Love Moldova” contributed money to making the video clip, said Igor Dodon.
“Moldova has a lot of wonderful places that represent the people. We must be proud that we live in this country. Each of us must respect and love the motherland. Things will improve when we realize this,” said Irina Tarasiuc.
The social campaign “I Love Moldova” will continue with other events designed to promote the national culture and values and to make the people love their country and contribute to its development.
