Maxim Braila: I voted for active involvement of young people in decision-making process

Maxim Braila, the candidate of the People’s Party for mayor general of Chisinau municipality, said he voted for the safety of the residents to be a key priority of the mayor, for repaired roads, for clean yards and lit sidewalks. “I voted for the active involvement of the young people in the decision-making process. Chisinau should regain the image of European capital and should provide good conditions for the youth,” the candidate stated for IPN.

Maxim Braila said he will spend this day at the party’s head office from where he will follow the electoral process.

More than 30,000 inhabitants with the right to vote cast their ballots in Chisinau by 10am. This is 4.7% of the voters put on the electoral registers.

The main voter rolls for the new mayoral elections held in seven communities on May 20 include 749 272 people. All the 375 polling places established for these elections were opened at 7am.
