The State Chancellery will be reformed based on an institutional and functional analysis that is carried out by experts of UNDP and of the company “Ernst&Young”. The subject was discussed in a meeting of the foreign officials with Prime Minister Pavel Filip, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, the Premier underlined the importance of the assessment that forms part of the activities aimed at launching the public administration reform. He also spoke about the recommendations formulated in the assessment report on the public administration in the Republic of Moldova, which was compiled within the SIGMA (Support for Improvement in Governance and Management) project.
Pavel Filip voiced confidence that this cooperation will contribute to achieving the common objective of strengthening the role of the State Chancellery as a Center of the Government and will improve and rationalize the operational and decision-making processes inside and between institutions.
The team leader of “Ernst&Young” Daina Belicka spoke about the activities that are to be carried out within the assessment. According to her, special attention will be paid to the functioning and cooperation between the Premier’s Cabinet and the State Chancellery.
