The Democratic Party’s main objective is to ensure the political stability and socioeconomic development of the Republic of Moldova, the party’s president Vlad Plahotniuc stated in three meetings with foreign officials visiting Chisinau that he had on June 3. He spoke about the results achieved by the PDM during the three years in power.
According to a press release of the party, the Democratic leader met with Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, Director of the Office of Eastern European Affairs of the U.S. Department of State Bradley Freden and Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Kozak, The discussions centered mainly on the political situation in Moldova.
Vlad Plahotniuc informed his interlocutors about the steps taken by the PDM to form a parliamentary majority and an efficient government so as to support the people and avoid snap legislative elections.
