As many as 1,650 public functionaries will be able to improve their knowledge and professional skills at training courses that will be staged by the Academy of Public Administration next year, IPN reports, quoting a Government decision.

The state order envisions the training of 1,200 servants from the central public administration and 450 functionaries from the local public administration at 12 courses that will focus on management, strategic planning, working out of public policies and development of communication capacities. The beginner public servants will attend a professional integration course.

The National Center for Personal Data Protection proposed a new training element. The functionaries are obliged to know and respect the norms concerning this area.

A sum of 471,200 lei was earmarked for holding training courses in 2017.
