5,000 Moldovan young people can continue studies in Romania

The fourth Romanian International University Fair will be held in Chisinau, Balti and Cahul on July 10-18. The event, organized by the Federation of Associations of Bessarabians of Romania (FAB Romania) , will provide information about the available offers, documents, accommodation and other details needed by those who want to study at Romanian universities, IPN reports.

FAB Romania chairman Constantin Cernega told a news conference that the number of places available to Moldovan young people who want to study in Romania remained the same as last year – 5,000. “This year, 1,500 places will be allocated for pre-university education, 700 of which with scholarship, 2,800 places – for university education, 1,410 of which with scholarship, while 700 places – for post-university studies, 400 of which with scholarship,” he stated.

The necessary documents (application, standard form issued by the consulate, authenticated copy of the Baccalaureate diploma, authenticated copy of the birth certificate, health certificate, copy of the identity card, etc.) can be submitted to the diplomatic offices in the three towns on July 17-31, said Andrei Harin, who is a member of the Bessarabian Initiative Group of Cluj-Napoca.

In Chisinau, the fair will be staged on July 10-12, in Balti – on July 14-15, while in Cahul – on July 17-18, starting at 10am.
