A number of 87 cases of seasonal flu were reported the past week. Most of them, 68 cases, were registered in the municipality of Chisinau. Meanwhile, morbidity was at a low level, down 30% on the previous week, the National Public Health Agency said, quoted by IPN.

In total, 3,026 cases of acute upper respiratory tract infections were recorded between March 31 and April 6. Most of them were in children. Three cases were reported in Edineț and Rezina, by two - in Căușeni, Ialoveni, Sângerei and Telenești, and by one case - in Balti, Călărași, Comrat, Dondușeni and Drochia

No patient infected with COVID-19 has been registered in the past two weeks.

Among the main protection measures, public health specialists recommend keeping social distance, avoiding crowded places, and observing hygiene rules.
