A H1N1 flu comes back: pregnant woman hospitalized in Chisinau

A 30-year-old woman pregnant in the fifth month was diagnosed with A H1N1 pandemic influenza. She was admitted to the National Hospital in Chisinau, Minister of Health Vladimir Hotineanu informed, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The minister said the second wave of pandemic flu has started. 400,000 vaccines will be brought to Moldova in a week. They will be administered to children aged between 2 and 16. The vaccines were donated by the World Health Organization. About 300,000 persons received the anti flu vaccine so far. One third of them are from Chisinau. 200,000 vaccines of those provided by the Government of Romania are still available. The pandemic flu has killed 46 persons in Moldova. The world death toll reached over 16,4000.
