A number of crossing checkpoints at Moldova's borders with both Ukraine and Romania were closed today due to bad weather, IPN reports.

The Moldovan Border Police said that the Ukrainian authorities temporarily closed four border crossings: at Saiti-Lesnoe, Mirnoe-Tabaki, Cismichioi-Dolinskoe, and Vulcanesti-Vinogradovka. Additionally, travelers are warned to avoid the checkpoints Palanca-Mayaki, Tudora-Starokazachje, Ceadir Lunga 1-Maloyaroslavets, and Ciadir Lunga-Novye Troiany.

At the border with Romania, travelers are advised to avoid the crossings Cahul-Oancea and Giurgiulesti-Galati. Additionally, drivers of vehicles heavier than 3.5. tonnes are advised to avoid the crossing Leuseni-Albita, as a portion of a Romanian road from Albita to Crasna is closed.
