The chairman of the parliamentary commission on economy, budget and finance Veaceslav Ionita said he will submit a legalities initiative to Parliament next week, whereby the activity of financial pyramids is prohibited, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Those who build financial pyramids are very aggressive and rebellious. The people who are swindled say they are investors and seek help from the police or the Prosecutor’s Office only when they lose money,” said Veaceslav Ionita. If the bill is passed, the activity of building financial pyramids will be considered illegal, while those who will break the law will be punished not administratively, but criminally. Earlier, the National Bank of Moldova called on the people to be prudent as the investment of money in the financial pyramid MMM-2011 involves major risks.
