A sum of 300,000 lei will be allocated for executing works to protect the residents of Lingura village of Cantemir district from floods and landslides, IPN reports.

The allocation of the money became possible after the Government amended the program for the conservation and increase of soil fertility for 2011- 2013.

According to the authorities, the money will enable to increase the number of measures taken to stop the destructive processes and to avoid emergencies.
