By order of Prime Minister Vlad Filat, a working group was set up to organize the transportation of the Holy Fire from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem to Chisinau. According to a communiqué from the Government, besides church representatives the delegation will include Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov and the executive’s deputy secretary general Eduard Banaruc, Info-Prim Neo reports. The working group will be head by the Government’s secretary general Victor Bodiu, who will make sure that all the organizational measures are taken. The Holy Fire will be brought to the Metropolitan Cathedral, from where it will be distributed to churches and monasteries all over the country. The transportation-related costs will be fully covered by Vlad Filat from his own financial resources. This is the tenth consecutive time the Holy Fire will be conveyed to Chisinau.
