Air Moldova flight cancelled

Air Moldova cancelled the January 13 flight to Istanbul and modified the hour of another two flights – Chisinau – St Petersburg and St Petersburg – Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the airline. The Chisinau – Istanbul – Chisinau flight 9U745 /9U746 was to take off from Moldova at 12.40. The passengers will be taken to Istanbul and, respectively, from Istanbul to Chisinau, by the company’s partner Interline. The Chisinau – St Petersburg flight 9U177 from 6.40 was rescheduled for 19.00, local time. The St Petersburg – Chisinau flight 9U178 from 11.50 was postponed to 23.55, local time. All the passengers of the cancelled flights will be provided accommodation and food until a new flight is available and will be able to travel from the airport to the hotel and back free of charge and to inform the relatives. Those who wanted could gratis change the ticket for a new flight or to modify the route until destination through intermediary airports. The passengers could also receive back the money paid for the ticket. The changes occurred owing to additional regular maintenance works performed following a planned technical check on one of the company’s planes.
