The list of persons who could be served in the Official Delegations Lounge at the Chisinau International Airport has been extended. A draft law to this effect was approved by the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.

The list was completed with the first deputy governor and deputy governors of the National Bank of Moldova, the chief of the General Staff of the National Army, secretaries general of the Parliament and the Staff of the President of the Republic of Moldova, heads of the President’s Staff and presidential advisers, the Speaker of Parliament and the Prime Minister.

The list of foreign high-ranking officials who will be served free of charge in the VIP room will also include the heads of state, heads of Parliaments and Governments, ministers, assistants of these officials, the President of the European Council and the President of the European Parliament and their assistants, the President of the European Commission, the European Commissioners, the secretaries general of international organizations and their assistants.

Until now, the official lounge could be entered upon presentation of the passenger's service card. Now access will be granted only based on information received from the State Chancellery and only if the person is making a business trip.
