Dancers from the Republic of Moldova, Alexei Gluhov and Anastasia Glazunova, have become European champions in sport dance. The couple placed first at the European Adult Standard Championship 2025, which took place in the Spanish city of Calvia.

"They have once again confirmed that they are the strongest, and now they are preparing for the Olympic Games, which are to be held in China," the president of the Moldovan Federation of Sport Dance, Petru Gozun, told IPN, asked by IPN.

The 1st place at the 2025 European Adult Standard Adult Championships is the 27th consecutive victory for the dancing couple Alexei Gluhov and Anastasia Glazunova.

Over 60 pairs participated in the championship in Spain. The Moldovan couple was joined on the podium by pairs from Romania and Poland.
