The Government approved the transfer of 1.45 million lei from the state budget to local public authorities of 11 districts for paying lump-sums for building, purchasing or reconstructing homes to 33 persons who didn’t raise preferential loans for the purpose earlier, IPN reports.

Among the categories of beneficiaries are rehabilitated victims of political repression, participants in the war for independence and territorial integrity, persons who remained without a home as a result of fighting and war veterans.

A sum of 7.8 million lei was earmarked in the 2017 state budget for paying such lump-sum allowances.
