Andy`s Pizza case sent to court
The Andy`s Pizza and La Placinte case in which the limited liability company Trabo Plus is accused of tax evasion has been remitted to court, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime (CCCEC).
It was established that the company did not record the money collected daily in January-March 2010 and the indicated revenues were by over 2 million lei lower.
Under the legislation, the tax evasion by legal entities is punished with fine of 60,000 lei to 1 million lei. The company is also deprived of the right to carry out a certain activity or is closed.
The anticorruption officers started to inspect SRL Trabo Plus early in April after receiving complaints from the population. No receipts were given to customers at the Andy's Pizza and La placinte eateries owned by Trabo Plus after 7 P.M., only the check, and the cash register did not record the money collected afterward. So, only a part of the daily revenues were indicated in the financial records and not all the taxes were paid.
SRL Trabo-Plus runs 16 Andy`s Pizza eateries and ten La Placinte eateries in Chisinau and Balti and a business that supplies food by order.
