Three persons were killed in a car accident on the Balti–Chisinau road on Wednesday, December 29. The car in which they were traveling skidded on the icy road and crashed into a truck, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police Division, the 32-year-old driver of the car and two female passengers of 18 and 49 died on the spot. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with different injuries. The police said the car was speeding and had summer tires on, which were worn out. A boy of about 10 went into a coma after he was struck by a car. He is now at Valentin Ignatenco Hospital in Chisinau. Doctors are trying to find his family.
