A member of the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) is requesting the regulator to monitor the television channels TV7 and ТHT for breaches of the broadcasting regulations, Info-Prim Neo reports. Speaking at the BCC meeting on Friday, Corneliu Mihalache requested that the monitoring be formally initiated at the regulator's next meeting. “I want an adequate and legally correct monitoring. In my opinion, these two channels fail to comply with the local programming rules and all they do is sensationalism with the only thought of easy money in mind”, said Corneliu Mihalache. The Law states that 35% of a broadcaster's programming must be local/national production.
