Brochure for Moldovans who return from abroad

The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family aims to produce a welcoming brochure intended for the Moldovans who returned home. The booklet will contain relevant information from different areas and the number of the hotline that they can use to receive additional information, the head of the Migration Policies Division Valentina Ungureanu has told IPN.

The Ministry’s representative said that such brochures are necessary as the people who had been abroad for a long time lose connection with what is going on in the mother country, but do not possess appropriate information.

The brochure will contain information about all the services, employment opportunities, opportunities for developing businesses and cooperating with the central and local authorities.  The booklet will be available at all the border crossing points, at bus, minibus and railway terminals and at the airport. It will also be distributed through the associations of the diaspora.

The project may be implemented in the first months of the next year. According to official data, about 330,000 Moldovans work currently abroad.
