A 50-year-old resident of Vorniceni village, Straseni district, was brutally beaten and left to die near the village’s cemetery. The Police got the information from a woman who lives in the same village, reports Info-Prim Neo. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, after several hours of searches, the police detained two suspects. The latter are two 18-year-old youth, co-residents with the victim. The suspects said that they were visiting a classmates’ grave. The victim approached them and they drank alcoholic drinks together. After drinking several glasses, they started a fight, and the boys started punching and kicking the man. The man managed to escape them and run home. The boys, however, found him, hit him with a wooden object several more times, and then dragged him to the cemetery gates and left him there. The youth risk a 12 to 20 year sentence in jail, or lifetime detention, if found guilty on the charge of intentional murder.
