The Cabinet has endorsed the draft law on veterinary medicines that regulates the registration, importation, storage, distribution and issuing of medicinal products for veterinary use in Moldova, IPN reports.

The bill defines the labeling and prospectus requirements for veterinary medicines, the pharmacovigilance program, surveillance measures and penalties imposed for the nonobservance of these requirements.

The monitoring was entrusted to the National Food Safety Agency and the Veterinary Medicines Commission.
