A National Patrolling Inspectorate team stopped a vehicle that was moving along the contraflow lane on M3 highway, near Congaz village. It was later established that the driver aged 30 and his passenger, who are both residents of Comrat town, were under the influence of drugs, IPN reports.

According to the police, 19 packets with a gray substance were found inside the car on the floor during a check. In the driver’s pocket, there was found a bottle with an unidentified brown liquid substance and two packets with the same gray substance.

The examination of the biological samples taken from the two showed that they took drugs. An investigation was started into this case. The two men will be penalized for taking drugs, while the driver also faces punishment for driving under the influence of drugs.
