A 24-year-old man was found dead in his burnt car parked on the bank of Ghidighici Lake. Sergiu Barbu, the head of the press office of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that a person on November 14 informed the 901 service about a burnt car situated near the lake. Experts traveled to the scene and found the carbonized body of the driver in the car. The causes of fire and of the man’s death are being established. On the same day, ten private houses and eight apartment buildings in Durlesti town remained without natural gas after a truck damaged the gas pipeline nearby. Teams of the National Intervention Center, the Chisinau Emergency Division and of the gas supplier Chisinau-Gaz worked to remove the consequences of the accident. The damaged pipe was replaced and the gas supply was restored the next day.
