Cases involving rights of minors to be exempt from state tax

Cases defending the rights of minors will be exempt from the state tax under an amendment adopted in the final reading by Parliament today.

The amendment to the State Tax Law, drafted by the PAS lawmaker Olesea Stamate, also excludes double taxation when paying the state tax.

The bill also establishes the exemption from the state tax for deregistration at home. Additionally, the bill provides for exemption from state tax and stamp duty for bailiffs and bodies with fiscal administration duties, regardless of their procedural status.

Through the proposed amendments, uncertainties are eliminated with reference to summons requests in non-patrimonial actions, and the exemption from paying the state tax in administrative litigation is established. At the same time, clarity is brought regarding requests for sharing, the state tax in this case will be paid based on the value of the goods claimed.
