The joint stock company “CET-Nord” made the first purchase of natural gas on the stock exchange platform operated by the Romanian Commodities Exchange, which is represented in Chisinau by BRM East Energy, IPN reports.
Natural Gaz DC SRL was designated winner of the tender contest and the contract for the delivery of 22,279.649 MWhG, at the price of 691.90 lei / MWhG was signed on Friday. This quantity of gas is bought for May-September. According to the specification and the sale and purchase agreement, the price includes all costs related to the delivery of natural gas to the place of consumption, including transport, balancing and other taxes.
According to data made available by Natural Gas DC SRL, the natural gas that will be supplied to CET NORD SA will be purchased exclusively on European stock exchanges, including Romania.
Through the platform of the Romanian Commodities Exchange, any non-household consumer can purchase natural gas through electronic trading involving all the registered natural gas suppliers.
