The hunting in the Domneasca Forest that resulted in the death of a man involved a Chisinau councilor. This is Iurie Nastas, who forms part of the Liberal faction, Info-Prim Neo reports. The information was made public by the Public Relations Division of the Chisinau City Hall. “Given that it is the duty of every person and institution to make public the information and facts about the December 23 hunting, the City Hall informs that as a result of the verifications, it was established that Iurie Nastas took part in the hunting,” it is said in a press release. The municipality pledged to continue the verifications and to make public the collected information. On a social networking site, Iurie Nastas wrote that he took part in the hunting, but wasn’t a witness to the incident. “As a result of that tragic accident, which I didn’t see because I was with another group of hunters, I lost a colleague and a very good friend. It is now important that justice be done,” said the councilor. Iurie Nastas said he participated in the hunting as a citizen, not as municipal councilor of the Liberal Party. That’s why he didn’t consider it necessary to inform the party about this. The councilor also said that he has been hunting for many years.
