The Chisinau water supplier announced that the process of disconnecting the bad payers from the supply of water will be resumed on September 10. The apartment buildings in Ciocana district will be the first to be disconnected, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau”, 19 blocks with a total debt of over 800,000 lei will be disconnected in Ciocana. The water supply will be restored only after the consumers pay all the debts and the reconnection tax.

The water utility calls on the end-users with debts to clear them as soon as possible so as to avoid being sued and having their property confiscated.

The list of consumers with debts for water is available on the company’s website www.acc.md. The disconnections will continue next week too.
